5 Core Program Areas: The Arts, Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, and Sports, Fitness, & Recreation

Future Stars Academic Incentive Program: Created in 1984 by current Executive Director, Dean Young. It is designed to reach, teach, and motivate kids ages 5-18 to improve grades, study habits, and self esteem. Since 1984, 100% of its participants have graduated high school!

SMART Moves & Positive Action Drug, Alcohol, and Pregnancy Prevention: (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training): Teaches the skills needed to resist peer pressure and to take responsibility for one’s own actions. Team building, honest relationships, decision-making, stress management, and planning for a positive future. Positive Action is a systematic educational program that promotes an intrinsic interest in learning and encourages cooperation among students. It works by teaching and reinforcing the intuitive philosophy that you feel good about yourself when you do positive actions. Includes Bright Hope & CHC partner programs.

Power Hour / Project Learn / Imagination Station Reading / Lexia Core5 Reading / PowerUp Literacy, & DreamBox Learning Math: After-school tutoring, intervention, homework help, educational enhancement and High-Yield Learning opportunities. Evidenced based programs, especially for at-risk youth, where students are assessed, monitored, and get individual instruction based on their unique needs. All programs follow state standards of PA. Critical areas of reading include letter knowledge, phonemic awareness, alphabetic decoding, spelling/word analysis/structural analysis, listening/reading comprehension, vocabulary, and automaticity/text fluency. Math topics vary based on grade levels.

Club TECH: The Club gives youth access to computers through our Tech Center, networked with internet access and monitored by staff. Includes Coding, Microsoft Office, Typing, Google Docs, and other approved applications.    

BE Great Graduate: Easton area teens are given the opportunity to develop the skills needed to graduate high school & create positive change in their community. Includes Torch Club (leadership group for ages 10-13), Keystone Club (leadership group for ages 14-18), College Tours/d2D, college and career exploration, CareerLaunch, Business Tours, Community Service Projects, Money Matters financial counseling, guest speakers, civic responsibility, and more. 

Mentoring with Impact: Matches youth with caring mentors from the community, covering individual tutoring & all 5 core program areas.

Triple Play Sports, Fitness, and Recreation: The First Tee Junior Golf Program, City-Wide Basketball League, Flag Football, Soccer, Dodgeball, Yoga, Volleyball, Scooter and Relay races, Jump rope and Hula Hoop challenges, Table-tennis, Pool & Billiards, Game-room activities, Hip-Hop, Dance, Drill/Step, and more.

SMART Moves Kids Café & Healthy Habits: Provides nutritious after-school meals, health, life skills, fitness & nutrition education, kitchen training, special events dinners, cooking classes, and summer camp breakfast, lunch, & snack.

Artworks: Arts & Crafts for all ages, drawing, painting, bead-work, Tech Ed. (shrinky-dink, wood burning, and other STEAM projects), modeling, seasonal crafts, fashion design, drama, music, and more.

Summer Brain Gain & Reading Program: 10 to 12 week summer activities and enrichment with the goal of preventing learning loss over the long summer vacation (offered June-August).
Character & Leadership Development: Keystone and Torch Clubs (youth participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service), Jr. Tour Guide initiatives, and peer mentoring are all part of this.
